Dixie & Tara have "missed" this mating, they are not pregnant, but Furgie appears to have been successfully mated by Duke and we are expecting pups near Christmas. Furgie has the gene for the White Chocolates so we are hoping for at least a couple of white puppies from this litter.

We are Keith and Darcy Nelson. We are located in Acampo, California, 35 minutes south of Sacramento. We started our breeding program 4 years ago with a goal to breed chocolate labradors, for their willingnes and skill to hunt and retrieve, and also to be a loving and loyal family pet. We started with a beautiful English Labrador Retriever block head and then wanted to combine an American Chocolate Labrador Field Trial line. Combining these two intelligent and athletic builds of labrador retrievers have produced very social and loving family pets, with the skills and ability to be field trial champions.The Pedigrees we have used for the breeding program have also been used as A,D.A.service dogs, K-9 search and rescue, and bomb and drug sniffing dogs
